A few useful tips to deal with voters who disagree.
Don't spread rhetoric – Regardless of intent, never share, re-post, print and/or distribute anything that is based on rumor or hearsay. Share facts only.
Be wary of the Social Media circus – Regardless of intent, never entertain some voters' propensity to publish lies and exaggerations through social media posts, comments, and/or replies to other people's posts/comments. Any interaction with those publishings only gains them more visibility. It's easier to just "hide" or "block" mistruths.
Avoid confrontation – If confronted face to face, politely agree to disagree... and walk away. Many more times than not, attempts to alter the other voter's opinion will fall on deaf ears.
Drive the vote – Apathy is the number one enemy of school bond elections. Keep your energy focused on engaging, educating and mobilizing voters - especially those who have some affiliation with the school district (parents, students, staff, alum, etc.).
